Yoko Littner (ヨーコ・リットナー)
- Progress: Completed
- Scale: 1/4 scale, about 15" tall from bottom of base to top of her gun
She is from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (天元突破グレンラガン).
I started this kit a couple of years ago and got her half painted when I became unhappy with how she was turning out, so I stripped almost all of the paint. I custom made her gun, which is SO much more awesome than the one that came with the figure. The rest of the figure needs some refitting and sanding/filling, which is very standard.
I had to do a big fix to attach her head to her body. The way she's put together, her scarf goes on before her head, which makes it impossible to get in there and really do the seam-fixing (puttying, sanding, painting) after her head is attached. Her neck doesn't really go down enough the way she came and you can totally see the seam, so I've extended her neck to fit over her existing neck at the bottom to make sure there won't be any seams to fix later. The problem is that it's such a delicate piece and I don't want to really adjust the shape of her scarf too much, so I keep breaking the new extension. I think I finally have it now, but I've gone through about six or seven versions before getting here.

- This page shows progress of both sold figures and not-yet-sold figures. To see which figures are currently available to purchase, head to the figures for sale page. To purchase one, contact Keiken. The contact form is at the bottom of the page.
- These are garage kits, not original Keiken concept art, although each piece is a one-of-a-kind due to being completed by Keiken with custom modifications.
- Don't know what a garage kit is? Look at the information page for an explanation or for painting services.
- EVERY piece has unique things which have been done to it, such as real metal earrings, real metal swords, or extra pieces sculpted on.
- Due to the delicate nature of these pieces thay are very difficult to ship, and some cannot be shipped at all.
How to Hire Keiken Illustrations
Hiring me isn't difficult, it starts with initial contact. At the bottom of every page is a contact form, just send me a message.
I'll get back to you as soon as possible, generally within 24 hours. Occasionally it may take multiple days, especially if the initial contact is on a holiday or I am travelling. As a semi-retired person, I am finally working on a healthy work-life balance so am actually taking vacations.
If you are curious about pricing, general pricing guidelines are on the FAQ page.
