Yes, I know this is crazy long. Unfortunately, it has to be that way considering how much people need to spell things out.

The Privacy Statement in this section sets forth the information gathering, use, and dissemination practices of Keiken Illustrations (sometimes referred to herein as "I", “we”, "us" or "our") in connection with the World Wide Web site located at keiken-art.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Statement addresses our practices regarding information collected only directly through or from the Site — it does not address or govern any information gathering, use, or dissemination practices related to information collected other than directly through or from the Site, including, without limitation, telephone, facsimile, postal mail, personal delivery, or other or additional offline means or media. Keiken Illustrations can be contacted at any time via by one of the ways listed on the contact page. All access to and use of the website, including any use or reliance on the information on the website, is provided subject to these Website Terms and Conditions of Use (the “terms”) and by accessing the website or using the information, you agree to be bound by these terms.
This Privacy Notice provides mandatory information as required under Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR regarding the transparency of personal data processing. Most of the GDPR information is listed below (what data is collected, disclosure to third parties, security measures, opt-out rights). The general data (none of which is personally identifiable, such as how many site visitors, which IPs looked like spambots, etc.) is kept indefinitely. Personal information (email addresses, physical addresses, real names, etc.) is not kept online and is kept in a literal notebook for about 5 years, unless you are making a payment through a third party like Paypal in which case the payment processor collects that information and is in charge of its security. Keiken makes the utmost effort to make sure your information is kept secure and private. Your personal information is currently not required to use this website. At any time you can remove cookies from your browser or disallow them in the first place by changing your browser settings. So why is the data collected from people just visiting the website? It helps Keiken know what pages people like the most, which areas of the site people spend the most time on, if there are problems with links, if someone is stealing an image, etc.
Keiken Illustrations does not maintain ANY information on the web site when you make online orders. You can have peace of mind using Paypal to process your credit card or e-check orders, since you know that any sellers never see account numbers. Paypal simply notifies sellers when a payment has been made. Paypal has its own privacy policies, which are excellent, and should be viewed if you are concerned. If you order online and choose to pay via cashier's check or money order, that information is also secure. After I receive your order from the shopping cart, I go online and erase the information from the shopping cart company, so your information isn't floating in cyber space forever.
Keiken Illustrations may automaticcally collect or track (1) the home server domain names, e-mail addresses, type of client computer, files downloaded, search engine used, operating system, and type of Web browser of visitors to the Site, (2) the e-mail addresses of visitors that communicate with us via e-mail, (3) information knowingly provided by the visitor in online forms, requests to receive alerts, registration forms, surveys, e-mail, and other online avenues (including, without limitation, demographic and personal profile data), and (4) aggregate and user-specific information regarding which pages Site visitors access.
Keiken Illustrations may place Internet “cookies” on visitors’ hard drives. Internet cookies save data about individual visitors, such as the visitor’s name, password, user-name, screen preferences, and the pages of a site viewed by the visitor. When the visitor revisits the Site, we may recognize the visitor by the Internet cookie and customize the visitor’s experience accordingly. The cookie is what allows the website to recognize your computer when you revisit the site and will enter your login information automatically if you have created an account on keiken-art.com. Visitors may decline Internet cookies, if any, by using the appropriate feature of their Web client software, if available.
Keiken Illustrations also may use Web bugs to gather, store, and track certain information related to your visit to and activity on the Site. A Web bug can gather, for example, the IP address of your computer, the time the Web page was viewed, and the type of browser used.
When a visitor performs a search within the Site, we may, among other things, record information identifying the visitor or linking the visitor to the search performed. We may also record limited information for every search request and use that information to solve technical problems with the services available directly or indirectly in connection with the Site and to calculate overall usage statistics.
Personal data collected by Keiken Illustrations may be used by us for many reasons. For example, for editorial and feedback purposes, for a statistical analysis of users’ behavior, for content improvement, for fulfillment of a requested transaction or recordkeeping, or to customize the content and layout of the Site. Aggregate data on visitors’ home servers may be used for internal purposes, and individually identifying information, such as names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and other personal information which visitors voluntarily provide to us may be added to our databases and used for future calls and mailings regarding Site updates, new products and services, and upcoming events, among other things.
Keiken Illustrations also may use Site visitor data to contact the Site visitors regarding account status and changes to the Terms of Service, Privacy Statement, and any other policies or agreements relevant to Site visitors.
